Travel Grant Awards

Up to ten Travel Grant Awards, each averaging $1500, are for faculty and/or students to spend up to three days and two nights at a NASA Center visiting with scientists. The purpose of this grant is to provide the first step in initiating contact and forging a direct partnership with a NASA Center to develop possible research projects. Please refer to the NASA's Four Mission Directorates for areas of research interest. To apply, submit the following information:

1. a cover/application page, (click here for the cover/application page)  
   Specific research area and your emphasis on one of NASA's Four Mission Directorates must be included on the application page. page
2. a budget (click here for budget form)
3. a short one-page abstract.

Awards will be announced by September 30th, 2009. 

**All travel must be completed by December 31st, 2009. 

The original and three hard copies of completed applications and cover pages must be mailed to:
